Due to Coronavirus regulations our meetings will be held on Zoom and revert to meetings in the Peveril Centre as soon as conditions allow.

Sadly Peter W Cheetham  Hon PAGB has passed away after a long illness. At relatively short notice members of Sheffield Photographic Society have kindly offered to give presentations via Zoom covering the following topics:.

Mark Tomlinson will show street photography and industry in Sheffield

Gareth Morgan will show street art in Sheffield

Richard Hall will present “My kind of picture” – nature, landscape and possibly sport and people.

 May 13th – Annual Exhibition (this year images will be digital)

    Theme – “Bridging the gap”

Members lectures – Joan Clough & Hazel Watson, followed by audio visual talk by Keith Brown FRPS

June 10th Appraising  2021 Member’s Annual Exhibition entries.

Gareth Martin will give a Zoom presentation entitled ‘Location, location, location’ from his home in Port Talbot

October  14th – ‘Beat The Clock’

The following members have been invited to show a selection of their images, but all within 10 minutes – to beat the clock:

December 9th Christmas Meal 

Christmas dinner at the 1830 restaurant – Castleton. Arrive 1900+ for drinks. Dinner to be served at 1930

Note : We will also be running a number of informal evenings, details will be made available at normal club evenings. Special activity and social evenings will also be arranged – details to be announced.
